What are research peptides?
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids synthesized for laboratory and scientific study. They are used to investigate biological processes, cellular signaling, and various physiological mechanisms. SEVIA peptides are strictly for research purposes and are not intended for human consumption.
Are your products intended for human consumption?
Absolutely not. All SEVIA products are intended strictly for research purposes only. They are not for human or animal consumption, nor are they intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Do I need to be a researcher to purchase?
Yes. By purchasing from SEVIA, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher, 21 years of age or older, and that products will be used exclusively for laboratory research.
Quality & Testing
How do you ensure product purity?
Every batch is tested using analytical HPLC and mass spectrometry. We maintain a minimum purity threshold of 99%, with most batches achieving 99.5% or higher. Third-party laboratories independently verify all results.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is a document from an accredited laboratory that verifies the identity, purity, and quality of a specific product batch. Each SEVIA product includes a downloadable COA with chromatograms and test data.
Can I verify your testing results independently?
Yes. Our COAs include detailed chromatograms, mass spectra, and batch identifiers. You or your institution can cross-reference these with independent testing if desired.
Shipping
How quickly do you ship?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST Monday-Friday ship the same day. All orders are processed within 24 business hours.
How are products shipped?
All peptides are shipped in temperature-controlled packaging with cold packs to maintain stability during transit. We use discreet, unmarked packaging.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within the United States only. We are working to expand shipping to additional countries in compliance with local regulations.
What are your shipping rates?
Standard shipping is $9.95. Orders over $150 qualify for free standard shipping. Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee.
Storage & Handling
How should I store research peptides?
Lyophilized (powder) peptides should be stored at -20°C (-4°F) in a dry, dark environment. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2-8°C (36-46°F) and use within the timeframe specified on the product label.
How do I reconstitute peptides?
Slowly inject bacteriostatic water along the inner wall of the vial. Do not shake vigorously — gentle swirling is preferred. Allow the peptide to fully dissolve before use. Detailed instructions are included with every order.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Lyophilized peptides are stable for 24 months when stored properly at -20°C. Reconstituted peptides should be used within 14-30 days depending on the specific compound.
Orders & Returns
What is your return policy?
Due to the sensitive nature of research compounds, we accept returns only for unopened products in original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Please see our full Refund & Return Policy for details.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement. Once an order enters the fulfillment process, it cannot be changed.
